"I HAVEN'T BEEN EVERY-

WHERE

BUT IT'S ON

MY LIST."

Susan Sontag

A little about me

I’m based in East Tennessee, married to my husband James, and a mom to two daughters who are now very much adults (which still feels weird to say out loud).

I love:

  • a really good meal, whether it’s a hole-in-the-wall or somewhere you need a reservation weeks in advance

  • a hotel that smells amazing the second you walk in

  • slow mornings with coffee and nowhere to rush off to

  • and travel days that feel calm instead of chaotic

I’m also the person who will absolutely notice:

  • if a room layout doesn’t make sense

  • if a resort looks better in photos than it does in real life

  • or if something feels just slightly “off”

I can’t not notice it.
It’s honestly a blessing and a personality flaw.

The food thing (this matters more than you think)

Food is a big part of how I experience travel.

But it’s also something I take seriously, because in my own life, it’s not always simple.

Between my daughter's celiac disease and navigating eating challenges within my family, I understand firsthand that “we’ll just figure it out when we get there” is not a plan.

It’s stress.

So when I plan trips, I’m thinking about:

  • what you’ll actually be able to eat

  • how easy it will be to navigate menus and staff communication

  • and whether dining will feel enjoyable… or like a daily obstacle course

Because food should be part of the experience
not something you have to manage every second of your trip.

How this became my work

I’ve always been the one researching, comparing, and quietly fixing things behind the scenes so everything runs smoothly.

At some point, I realized… not everyone wants to do that.

And more importantly, not everyone has the time, energy, or desire to go ten tabs deep comparing room categories, restaurant options, and whether the “ocean view” is actually a parking lot with ambition.

So I built a business around taking that off your plate
and making sure your trip actually feels the way you hoped it would
.

The part that actually matters

Travel is supposed to be something you look forward to.

Not something that stresses you out while you’re planning it or leaves you overwhelmed once you get there.

I care a lot about getting it right. Not just in how it looks, but in how it feels while you’re living it.

Outside of travel

When I’m not working, I’m usually:

  • spending time with my family (including my 2 dogs and 3 cats)

  • watching something with fast, witty humor (Gilmore Girls, The Office, Parks and Recreation...)

  • or mentally planning my next trip whether I need one or not

I also fully believe:

  • food is a major part of the travel experience

  • comfort is not something you have to earn

  • and just because something is popular doesn’t mean it’s right for you

If you’re here

You’re probably someone who values your time, your energy, and how things actually feel in real life.

You want it to be good. Not just fine. Not just pretty. Actually good.

Which means we’ll likely get along just fine.
